The Awakening Church!

As a prophet, it is not always easy to make known the words that God gives. Especially the warnings that you know people won't like.

But if I just pass on the words that please and caress people, certain things will cause a rude awakening, and God will be very displeased with me.

Especially now that the prophetic and apostolic ministry is recognized as important, we do well to pay attention to everything that is said and take it seriously.

The world is changing and God knows very well what is happening around us. That is why He warns us, He reveals what is not yet seen and shows us the way.

Above all, he shows us what position the Church should take in these turbulent times.

One of the impressions God gave me this year had to do with the awakening of the church.

As if she was sleeping and was awakened by an alarm, which made her jump up and into action.

I am aware that God has times and seasons when certain things are activated to give a clear sign of His kingdom, but surely the church was already activated 2,000 years ago?

Then I received Romans 13:11 on my heart, which says: “You know the present time: the hour has already come for you to wake up from your slumber, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed.

"You know the present time..." it says here. And maybe this is why God gave me this word. Is the present time known to us at all? Do we know where we stand, or rather, does the church know where it stands or is it asleep?

"...the hour is already come for you to wake up from your slumber" Paul wrote, because our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed."

Dear folks, it should be clear to us that today's events are a sign that the return of the Lord is not long in coming!

It's a “wake-up call” to get up and take action. To be the church Jesus died for. A church that triumphs over the devil and in all her God-given power brings His kingdom to earth!

Now is not the time to pull the covers over your head hoping the world will be a better place tomorrow!

It's time to stand up and hear the devil say: Oh no... they're awake again!

The body of Christ is not weak, but strong and invincible. We don't live on the defensive, we live on the offensive.

As a church, we should be seen as a light in the dark, a place of healing and strength, a life-giving organ that fuels a hunger for more.

A place where miracles and signs ensure that the eyes of young people are no longer focused on their mobile phones, but on Jesus.

In Acts 2:42 it says that "Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles.

The early church was not only born in the power of the Spirit, the power of the Spirit was part of its ongoing experience.

It was this power that enabled the Church to influence people on a deep personal level (they were filled with awe).

The miraculous was a hallmark of the Church in Acts and thus an example for the church today!

Today's church may not see that happen, but God says she will awaken from her slumber and come forth in full force!

The church is undergoing a change that is already visible in the Netherlands. Slowly but surely new churches are beginning to appear.

The shaking of the past few years has shaken the dust off the church. She will rise again with newfound splendor.

I see an activation of believers to increase the work of the Lord.

I see a strong church in 2023 full of people using their gifts and talents to honor and serve God.

A church that draws people's attention and shows them the goodness and power of the Lord.

A church that says: We trust in Jesus and will do the same works as He did. John 14:12
